Nasopharyngeal angiofibroma

Most common nasopharyngeal benign tumor
Locally agressive
Invades pterygopalatine fossa
Anterior bowing of the posteior maxiallary wall is charactersitic
Arterial supply from internal or externalcarotid; per-op embolization is needed
40-50% recur, if skull base invasion present

CT:
Intensely enhance

MR:
Abundant flowvoids

Differentials:
Hypervascular polyp, rhabdomyosarcoma, germ cell tumor, carcinoma, lymphangioma, encephalocele (later 2 do not enahnce)
