Cemento-osseous dysplasia

Common in mandible
Classically seen in periapical region of lower anterior teeth
Present in adult life as incidental findings
Localized discrete lesions
Round lucent lesions with varying opacity
Progressively become more opaque internally
Follow-up the lesion with radiographs for 18–24 months
Surgery or biopsy are indicated only if become symptomatic or significant clinical or radiographic change
