General features:
Benign epithelial neoplasms
10% of odontogenic tumors
30-50 years
Slow-growing painless mass
May infiltrate soft tissues
Location:
Most common site - ramus and posterior body of mandible (80%)
Imaging:
Common imaging appearance: Expansile, multilocular with internal septa (soap bubble appearance) (similar to large odontogenic keratocysts)
Less common: Well-defined, unilocular, well corticated, lucent lesions associated with crown of impacted or unerupted teeth (indistinguishable from odontogenic keratocysts and dentigerous cysts)
Management:
Excision and if extensive en bloc resection
Known for recurrence
